Hello CMA Families -

This is Spring Season week 3 of 8

An 'at a glance' weekly update for this week

Quick notes:

  • Normal Practice Schedule Monday-Thursday this week.
  • Friday (4/24): ALL Shark Groups will be practicing at Sartell High School (enter door 28 or the main door), Senior groups will still be at Apollo. Practice TIMES remain the same.
  • Summer information was emailed out at the end of last week. If you have questions about summer planning please reach out via email.
  • Please make sure you update (or Register if you have not done so) your athlete’s USA Team Registration. Our Team Link can be found here: https://omr.usaswimming.org/omr/welcome/C5FDCDF50CA449

What athletes need for practice every night:

  • Swim Suit (one-piece for girls, jammers or speedo preferred for boys)
  • Swim Cap
  • Goggles (and a back up pair in case the first pair breaks)
  • Water bottle - NO GLASS
  • Tuesday/Thursday - Dryland Clothes: Shorts, Shirt, Tennis Shoes [Quarry Sharks & Apex Predators]
  • CMA Coaches are working on an equipment list for senior level athletes, Apex Predators, and Quarry Sharks.

Meet Updates:

  • TUNA & HURR Meet Registrations are now closed.
  • DRGN Meet Registration closes April 28th at 11:59 pm
  • Our May Block Party information is posted. 13 and Overs will be competing on Friday night in a high school style triangular meet. 12 and Unders will be competing on Saturday in a sprint style meet. Both sessions will be hosted at Sartell High School. This is a CMA hosted meet, thus requiring CMA parent/family volunteers

A look ahead:

  • April 24th the SMS practice groups will be at Sartell High School (indicated on calendar)
  • We will be hosting a 2-Session Block Party Meet on May 9 & 10th, this will require parent volunteers! Volunteer registration will be posted as we get closer to the meet.
  • May 11-22nd there will be a switch up in practice locations - this will be communicated as we get closer to that week

Please reach out with any questions throughout the season - Email is the easiest way to reach out.
