Meet Registration Information:

Attached to this email is a step-by-step guide on how to register for swim meets. The guide includes screenshots for an example meet. The screenshots will not be accurate for the TUNA meet information but to be used as a general registration guide.

Important to Note: If you are unsure of which events to choose for your athletes you can:

  1. Reach out via email to the head coach of the practice group your athlete is in for guidance
  2. In the notes section indicate “I am not sure which events to choose, can you please pick the events you think are appropriate for my swimmer” (or something similar)
  3. Leave the selection blank and allow the meet registration to close - Coaching staff will ASSUME this means you want us to pick

WARNING - Make sure if you are not picking events for your athlete that you INDICATE the day you are intending to attend the meet by 1) declaring committed status to the correct day, 2) indicating in the ‘notes’ section of the registration the day you intend to commit to. If this is not done correctly and entry selection is left blank, coaches will ASSUME your athlete is eligible to swim all of the days available for the meet.

Reminder: Once entries are submitted to the host team you are financially committed to that meet. Families are still responsible for paying meet fees whether your athlete swims in the meet or not. Central Minnesota Aquatics is still responsible for paying the entree fee for individual and relay entries for EVERY athlete signed up for the meet regardless if that athlete competes or not.
